St. Jude parish has had an active ministry and its own St. Vincent de Paul chapter since we were established as a parish in 1959. Our parish participates in holiday clothing and food drives with the vicariate community served by SVDP, serving homeless or struggling families in the Eugene-Springfield area. We participate in the annual SVDP homeless shelter by spending a week at the shelter planning, cooking, and serving dinner to the resident families during the wintertime.
